Tokyo was actually already destroyed by firebombing on the wooden city so there wasn’t much to destroy

And also Hirohito saw all of that, that was devastating for his country and people

If this happened than Japan would have sided with USSR, it would probably become like North Korea

Fun fact: Kyoto was on the list for cities being nuked by the US. However, the US decided not go through with it due to kyoto having no military value, but enormous symbolic value. Kyoto was a very cultural and symbolic city. Groves wanted to destroy it precisely because it would be a massive morale shock to the Japanese, and had a value in that sense to hopefully induce surrender. But destroying it could create a rift that would doom any effort for the peaceful reconstruction of Japan.

Mis information. They actually made Tokyo a target. But since it's already constantly bombarded they switched

Fun fact: The US told the people in both cities so that they can leave, but they didn't care

Crazy how it would be a war crime had any other country did that

Completely wrong, and this is the reason why never let an americans discuss about history. Japan surrendered because Soviet joined and they know they wouldn't stand a chance so they surrendered

Your wrong they did not nuke Tokyo as Tokyo was already in ruins and a bomb on it would of only killed people the us wanted to show the destruction of the nuke not the kill count

This isn't true entirely. The reason is slightly dark but Tokyo wasn't targeted because it was already destroyed from the US' fire-combing campaigns. (Around 50% of Tokyo was completely destroyed from them by the end of the war). The US had a list of cities they considered using the atomic bombs on which they narrowed it down to two, Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

Interestingly, some historians debate whether or not the dropping of the Atomic bombs even changed the outcome of the war at all since the Japanese had already experienced heavy fire-bombings regarded to have caused far more destruction than the A-bombs ever did, combined with the fear of the Soviet invasion and all of their failing fronts, Japan may have surrounded with or without the A-bombs, but that is debatable as previously mentioned.
