His mother did everything she could to protect him, so now he can tell this story. Bless them both.

I’ve now seen both Hiroshima and Najasaki Bombing survivor’s stories. I’ve almost cried on both of them, they both were at a young age imagine how nice their life without this. I hope something like this never happens, again.

A bleeding head due to small glass shards being embedded in it and the other two being apparently uninjured is a miracle. People right by the detonation zone would've been vaporized. Many others would've burned to death or even had their skin melt off, which are agonizing ways to die. Yet more would have burn injuries, internal injuries, blindness etc. The Yamashita's are exceptionally fortunate to have lived through that horror. Nukes should not exist. Nuclear energy should be used as an alternative power source and nothing more.

“If I had a dollar for every nuclear bombing I survived, I’d have two dollars, which isn’t much but very strange considering the circumstances.”

The fact that we can hear firsthand accounts from these remarkable survivors SHOULD be enough to know that this will never happen again…🕊️

Where I feel for these people having their lives changed, millions of lives were changed by that war around the world. The Japanese tortured and mutilated millions from China, Korea to the Philippines. Ask any of those still alive if they believe what happened in Hiroshima was justified.
