If using software professionally you should keep up to date, that what I we do. It cost money and your investment is worth it. I do not understand professionals who begrudge paying with software. I got suite software, Which includes SketchUp Pro 21, PlusSpec, V-Ray and Adobe Suite. We also getting PlusSpec Design Build for costing. We are small entrepreneurial company who looks for the edge on the competition. We have to, these days. We D&C CLT/Passive House multi-level buildings and interiors. I have used most software package back as 1985, I have decided we have adopted the packages for us. My career has been engineering and construction all over the world.
