This is why I don't live in Florida or tornado alley of the midwest.

I was born and raised in Florida, and lived there for 45 years of my life. I had never heard of Tornadoes with hurricanes, and for the 24 years I lived in Michigan I was only in one. I lived in Martin County and St Lucie county and in these two counties there were confirmed 5 Tornatoes? My prayers to all the residents affected by this hurricane.

Well I've heard from my nieces in N. Port, Florida they didn't get a lot of flooding but lost electric which they told is back on . I asked them to try and get some pics for me to post because I do not trust our media, any of them at all . Our local media barely touched on this hurricane at all. But N.Port is the only one I can say anything about, if you have family there I might be able to get my family to check on them for if you need them to

Every dead person is a horrible tragedy. But - the media announced that thousands would be killed during Milton which was announced as the worst hurricane in the last 100 years. Windspeeds of 165 mph and category 5 was reported.
First responders using a Stadion as their shelter? Why not a circus tent?

I just don't get it... everybody knew it was coming and when it was coming, why would they not get out while they could.? NO!!! THEY WOULD RATHER DIE?

You get F for Journalism 101, just like all major media. What towns & counties were hit? Where did 4 people die? When can people return to their homes?

Best to all those affected. I'm just gonna keep behind here where the only thing to have to shovel is snow, not my windows.

That guy in boat? Is he dead too? The one with one leg who got dropped from social security. If no one seen him then hes dead, trying to ride out 100 mile winds on the ocean with a 5 horsepower motor ? Hes probably dead !

Shame on everyone for spreading fear throughout

They always hype it up and say words like it’s gonna be catastrophic! Than they create everyone to go rush for water and gas and to leave. SMH

Gotta do better
