There were 19 tornadoes, which suggests the mortality would've been high if not for the warnings and evacuations.

There were so many tornadoes. They started 8 hours before Milton made landfall. Scary.

Every time I catch myself complaining about shoveling snow, I'm going to 🤐 zip it! Hurricanes are exponentially worse than blizzards. imho

I am so happy that the worst predictions didn't happen! Thank goodness!

Just in case any rightist thinks so, the warnings were not overstated.

Grateful the initial predictions didn't transpire. I have family from Orlando to Naples, It is better to lean on the side of caution than danger given these types of events switch on any given notice. Ill be out there by the end of the week to help our neighbors anyway I can. So for anyone that has any critiques for the extreme safety measures that were taken, stop typing and put on some gloves to come help. God bless.

surge ony 5 ft instead of 10 or even 15. It is bad but it could have been much, much worse.

May the people who have been terrorized by this horrific storm find true comfort and peace. And may the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon them. Amen.

Oh my God, imagine some people on the way moving there or just move there days ago. Now they have to evacuate!
