Your X3d will be great for gaming, and just ok for video editing. If you do more than just gaming, I would have suggested the non X3d variant.

Best answer : test it out for yourself since you've already tried intel 🤠

Wait, I was under the impression that Ryzens already were much better than Intels for video editing and the like due to their sheer core count?

Gaming-wise Intel used to have the advantage due to the higher core clocks, which have since been somewhat negated by the X3D variants?

Either way, am quite happy that I ended up going with a 5950X and ended up avoiding the entire 13/14th gen clusterfluff.

Will the ryzen 5 5600x bottle neck the rtx 3060?

Being skeptical in any way of AMD right now is just asinine tbh. As far as the productivity aspect of things, the 7950x or 7900x would have given more than the 7800x3D. As far as gaming, this rig will be a freak beast like you've nvr seen

"Intel said they will not RMA any of their CPUs"
That is a broad and very false statement sir... If you read the article, they denied a 2nd RMA for a 13900K. Gotta read past the head lines

You’re better off with a faulty Intel, than a perfect AMD. Sorry, not sorry.
