Do you have a solution for how to achieve this where the table can be sorted, i.e. so the reference numbers are locked to their original row, not tied to the row they happen to be in the grid?

How do you start with leading zeros 00 before number 1 (001) and when you reach 10 the number will be like (010) and when you reach 100 it will be (100) only without zeros, is this possible?
