I don't think money in a money market fund qualifies be considered as an investment.Owing to their liquidity I save my emergency fund in a money market fund.Government bonds especially IFB are good deal but they require more Capital to rip benefits.100k will generate ksh13900 per year going by the last coupon rate that was 13.98%.Unless you have huge sum I can't advise investing in IFB with 100k.With 100k there are small business ventures that one can begin with more returns instead of waiting for a whole year to get ksh13, 900 which could have been "eaten" by inflation.The stock market is a good venture but you must do your homework well before choosing the companies to buy shares from . Otherwise this is good content.
