If you go to account.xbox.com/settings and it redirects you to beta.support.xbox.com then more than likely your account is a child account and was never given parental consent.

Go to account.microsoft.com/profile and make sure your age is correct.


If your account was a child account and is now over 18 and you are still having the issue you can add payment information to your account and it will recognize you as an adult.

This does not work even with a over 18 account :( the link just takes me to the beta support page, I’ve been trying for hours now, watched every video, even made a new xbox/Microsoft account but nothing has worked! I’m not sure but I think it might have to do with the corona, the support page says it has “heavy volume” because of the corona virus :(
