How To Fix TikTok Privacy Settings

Let's fix your privacy settings on the TikTok app in this quick and easy guide.

If your TikTok privacy settings aren't letting you send DMs or let people comment on your videos, duet, adjust ad settings, etc. I walk you through how to change all those privacy settings on the app. There are some defaults that you can't change depending on your age if you're under 16 or over 16. However, you can adjust lots of things to either make your account more private or more public. This process works the same for iPhone and Android in 2021.

i know i’m really late but in order to change dms to everyone, you have to have your age set to 16+ when you create your account, and you also have to verify your email (three dots/lines, settings and privacy, manage account, verify email)
