Unable to change privacy settings of my Xbox profile, Can't Access My Microsoft/Xbox Account's Privacy and Online Safety Settings Due To Link Error
It may be because You’re using a child account so you need your family group’s organizer who can update your privacy settings for you

Very odd, I’m not even in a family group let alone a child account. Yet every time I try to change my settings it keeps redirecting me back to the exact same page.

the problem with me is, i am not in a family group. i made my own microsoft account and never joined any sort of family group i dont see a reason i shouldnt be able to change my settings

edit: it works now, no idea why, i didnt do anything, i really doubt this was why but i went on "my microsoft account" and scrolled down and clicked "family", there was only me in it, i didnt do anything, and just went off that page since there was nothing i could do, and then all of a sudden it let me change my settings.

i really need help man, i dont have a family account but it brings me to the same "why cant i change my privacy settings" page and there is no way for me to bypass this since there is only one account under my email

My cousin figured it out another way. What he did was accidentally pressed stay logged into his old account and it wouldn’t let him access it with his new account so if this is a similar problem for you go to the old account and make it to where it doesn’t keep you logged in and it SHOULD work.
