I guess you all missed it in your hurry to tear down the intent of the producers of the show, to get people talking about Jesus. And if you think it is wrong to talk about or discuss the life of Jesus, then you have entered via the wide gate.

The scriptures never say things like “fully man” and “fully God” which is a contradiction. God is not a man. God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. There is ONE God and one mediator between God and man, the man, Christ Jesus.
Matthew 16:6-20 reveals the true identity of Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
God was IN Christ… search “god the son” in Scripture = Zero hits. Then search Son of God.
