CSV encoding in Excel

Показать описание
This short tutorial shows, how to simply correctly encode a CSV file (for example UTF-8) in Excel correctly so you get rid of the hieroglyphs and wrong formatted text. There are many different special keyboard letters, that can get displayed wrong if you open them with a different program. Normally Microsoft Excel encodes it with UTF-8, but sometimes you need to adjust the format of the letters yourself otherwise, you get strange symbols in your file, which makes it unreadable or even unusable.

To get rid of this problem, you need to read the CSV text file through a news Excel sheet and import text in the data tab. There you can specify your encoding standard, that the text gets displayed correctly.
