Three simple foods for Menopause

Menopause is a series of changes that the body experiences before the periods completely stop. This is a perfectly natural progression, one that must be spoken about, understood and embraced. This series is an attempt to reach out to those who are confused, conflicted and anxious about how this natural process will pan out for them.

Perimenopause is the phase leading to menopause. Menopause is a full 12 months without a period and post menopause is the phase that follows. While this progression is natural, it can come with fatigue, night sweats, increased waist circumference, poor digestion, loss of sleep, etc. One of my clients described it as an endless first trimester only where no one is in a mood to indulge you.

The series aims to bring about an awareness of the changes so that you tide over the phase smoothly. It will educate and advocate about inexpensive, familiar, homemade foods and practices that will ease out the symptoms you experience. This is to ensure that your day to day functioning returns to normal, you are empowered to accept the changes and not embarrassed about them. Nor do you reduce the transition to a deterioration.

The first video in this series highlights 3 foods - walnut, gud & ghee, and rajgeera. The idea is to naturally infuse your daily diet with nutrients that you could be missing out on because you are “watching what you eat“ or are simply on a restricted diet with reduced diversity. Nutrients such as vitamins, micro minerals, fibre, polyphenols, essential fats, etc.,
to beat hot flashes, indigestion, skin & hair changes.

Ageing is natural, jawani is fleeting, josh is not. It is a blessing to live a long healthy life. Nothing can help you grow and evolve like age can. So keep the focus on health, happiness and weight loss with follow.

Many thanks for taking the effort to educate women on the changes of menopause. ....I'm a 60 year old woman who is finished with menopause and I feel these are the best years of my life. Health wise and emotional maturity wise...

OMG mein itna pareshaan ho rhi pichhle kuch months because everyone is saying tu bhut chori hoti (failti) ja rhi hai. Achanak aapka video saamne aaya aur dekhkar thodi tasalli hui ki mujhe pareshaan nhi hona balki samjhdaari se apna dhyaan rakhna.

I came to know in depth about menopause 2-3 years back only and I can understand at least 1/4 of what my mum is going thru because I have PCOS and I also face a few similar symptoms myself… so I try to help and support my mum thru this phase :) …. I think we all need to support our mom’s or any older women in our lives at this stage of life much more ….because this is usually the time when women are left to take care of themselves, no one gives them much attention or thought cause we all get so busy in our lives we tend to forget about our mums sometimes

My ovary has been removed recently. I am aged 50 and was going through the same symptoms and no doctor explained so well to me regarding this.
