Vehicle Auto-Shut Off

Показать описание
No one likes to waste fuel, right?
So, on select models, Kia has added Vehicle Auto- Shut Off technology.
Here’s how it works:
The Vehicle Auto- Shut Off system is quite simple:
When certain conditions are met, the vehicle will turn off automatically after a pre-set time – either 30 or 60 minutes.
When Vehicle Auto-Shut Off is set, this warning will appear on the instrument cluster stating, “Vehicle will be turned off automatically in 30 minutes.”
Then, when the timer ends, a continuous beep will sound one minute prior to the vehicle shutting off.
By default, the timer is set to 30 minutes.
To change the timer to 60 minutes, go to User Settings on the instrument cluster or the Vehicle Settings on the audio head unit, then under Vehicle Auto-Shut Off, select “30 minutes,” “60 minutes,” or “Off.”
In addition, while the timer is running, you can re-set the timer to extend the running time by pressing the “Okay” button on the steering wheel.
For Vehicle Auto-Shut Off to work, the vehicle has to be turned on with the engine running…
The transmission in park…
The driver’s seatbelt unfastened…
The driver’s door is opened…
And the front passenger seat not occupied.
The Vehicle Auto- Shut Off system is a smart way to help maximize fuel economy.
