How to disable 'Auto Stop' Feature in your 2021 Chevrolet Traverse

Here I explain how to deactivate the Auto Stop feature.

This method also works on most other GM models.

Also explain use of All Wheel Drive and Electric Parking Brake.

We used this method to disable autostop on our 2021 Traverse for two months. Worked great. Then, for some reason autostop appears to be permanently disabled! Even in normal drive mode. Awesome!

Just to verify, I have to drive while on L? Or I just use that to change gear and go back to D? Thank you!

Okay so if I understand correct. I put it into l9 put in park and then put it back to l1/2?? Because obviously I can’t ride around in l9?? I can’t stand auto stop in the city area.

Mine is also disabled when i have the a/c on the lowest temperature setting.

2022 model has a button you push to turn it off, its on everytime you start veh though

Just got a 21 traverse and am using this idea bc it's annoying as hell! Why wouldn't they have a on and off button for it is the million dollar question!!!

So my question is, does this have ANY negative effect on the transmission or does it work exactly as if it was on D or Drive ? I do drive a lot so its my only concern.

My stick goes to M not L and the M only goes to 2
