Lawsuit 101: Handle criminals EXACTLY like this man did and then sue either the department, the state or both

This is what a $350, 750.00 lawsuit looks like for unlawful detention while identifying, and violating his rights. This man deserves every penny from his court settlement.

They should be fired and not allowed to work in any jurisdiction, ever again.

That first sow is a walking lawsuit. OUtrageous behavior. "You "might" look like the person we're looking for". Cuffs him and steals his wallet. "Oh, he's not the one?" "Take a picture of his ID so I can get his information." She didn't double down. She quadrupled down on 4th Amendment violations.

Seriously for all lawsuits I believe the police need to pay. Not the city!!! They should be held accountable.

I don't know that you're not guilty until you prove that you're innocent.

"Might match the description" translates to 10 to 20 million in court.

She said it herself, " I don't know if you were involved in a stolen vehicle." "You may match the description of someone who committed a crime."

His voice didn't surprise me when I saw how quick they were to put the cuffs on a man who they did not identify as a criminal.

If he's handcuffed, he's not detained, he's under arrest. They illegally detained him and searched him. I hope he sues every one of these cops and wins.
