I love how pizza delivery drivers can find the right house and person but the police can’t

It was not a case of mistaken identity. It was a case of FELONY BREAKING and ENTRY. BATTERY and KIDNAPPPING

"mistaken identity" should become assault & battery

"We're trying to figure out what's going on, too." You're supposed to figure that out *before* invading a person's home without a warrant.

Without a warrant it’s just a home invasion. All of them that entered the apartment should be held accountable. This is why “qualified immunity” should not exist.

People, I repeat: DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR FOR COPS IF YOU DIDN'T CALL THEM. NEVER OPEN THE DOOR.

They should all be fired and jailed for assault

STOP OPENING YOUR DOORS FOR COPS! Unless they have a warrant, you aren’t required to speak to them.

Police are making it really hard for anyone to respect or trust them, especially innocent people like this woman minding her own business.

End Qualified Immunity and start holding law enforcement officers accountable for their criminal actions and lying.

We have investigated ourselves and cleared ourselves of any wrong doing.

This was a multi-million dollar law suit. Call your lawyer immediately sue this police department for every dime their worth.

This is not "mistaken identity." It is breaking and entering, assault and attempted kidnapping.

This is traumatizing to those children to that family, and those police officers need to be held accountable!

If you can't kick the government out of your house for being there unlawfully you don't actually own the ground you're on. Breaking into someone's house and assaulting them when you try to make them leave is a serious crime for anyone who isn't an officer. End qualified immunity and make them stand trial for their crimes just like everyone else. Start taking lawsuit money from them personally and things will clean up real quick.

Every single officer involved should be held accountable

violating the bill of rights with physical harm and colour of law is a federal crime... who's been charged?

Another huge lawsuit that we taxpayers will have to pay for police incompetence!

Without a warrant they should never have been inside her house. Even if they had a warrant they shouldn't have brutalized her. Now JSO is going to investigate themselves and find they did nothing wrong, which will be a declaration that 4th Amendment violations and excessive force are acceptable JSO practices.
Update: The victim has hired an attorney. And JSO is now victim-blaming.
