I have super thick hair and just bought a pair of thinning shears, and I was scared to try them, but the way you just get in there and go, I have a little more confidence now. 😊

FINALLY had the courage to buy thinning shears. Not really sure if this is damaging to my hair but IT FEELS SO GOOD TO GET RID OF THAT BULKY ANNOYANCE OF HAIR lol

Thank you! I always felt like my thick hair was part of my identity, but it's getting too hot and I changed my mind and your video helped me decide to go through with thinning it. (I was actually considering a buzzcut lol).

Appreciate it, Im a man and dealing with thick hair is one of the most annoying things, specially in the back when it's a hot day

Thank You much for this Miss!
It was really helpful as I have the same hair texture as yours! Now I think I'm confident to do it at home, all thanks to you! 🤍

Thank you for this video!
I personally take this much hair off my hair just by brushing it for around a week and a half but my hair is still really thick and also my hair stylist refuses to thin out my hair that much so i really needed that.

I just watched your video, got out my thinning scissors that I was always too nervous to use, & I went for it. Thank you for posting your experience, it gave me the courage to do it myself. My hair now feels lighter, & it looks great.

I’m fixing my haircut 💇‍♀️ I have very thick hair. It’s definitely easier to manage now that it’s short and it grows fast. Making necessary adjustments to make it more symmetrical and adjacent.

Oh awesome! Can I use this technique to my very bulky think hair to help it bring my wave and curls back? Does it work if your hair isn’t straight?

Should you use thinning shears on wet hair, because hair stylist akways dry the hair before they uses the tinnig scissors. Also dont go to close to the scalp, take your hair at the ends and then fold it towards the scalp in that way you find the middle at the lenght and then thin out the hair from the middle and down the length.Cut once and slide down instead of cutting tree times.I have this from a video on You tube of an hairstylist that shows how to thin out thick hair.

I wish My hair was as thick as just one of those strands. I don't think I have as much hair on my whole head as what's in that blob. 🥺

Another tutorial I saw said you should always go in at an angle, otherwise it doesn’t grow up properly. How are you finding it since the cut? Any issues?

To those watching this. It's better to do this on clean, straightened hair so you can see what it looks like in a finished style. It helps by allowing you to not take too much out, plus you can see areas that have been thinned out too much.

Also, do 2 or 3 cuts and stick to it. Do not change like the video, as it'll create uneven sections. Consistency is key.
