The health effects are real...I was in a relationship with an abusive narcissist, his close female friend was a machiavellian narcissist...they had no conscience, deceiving and manipulating everyone around them. When your eyes are finally opened to what was really going on behind the facade, it's devastating. They will destroy your life without any remorse. Run far away.

Towards the end of my narcissistic relationship I was throwing up, soon as I left her I rapidly felt fine, crazy how these terrible people destroy you but I survived and lost a son

My mom was isolated for years by my narcissistic father and she and I (the eldest) both carry severe health problems, mental and physical, depsite years away from the abuser.
She even ended up going almost fully bald from the abuse and never /didn't/ have ulcers or ocular migraines until the marriage was over and the abuse (mostly) ended.
At age 60 without any medications or treatments she entirely regrew all of her hair and her vision has almost entirely stabilized. Shes still making steps forward, but if that isnt the miracle of recovery i don't know what is.
Thank you for all of the knowledge you offer here, i hope that it helps everyone as much as its helped us (even just for understanding the cptsd)

Thank you yes PTSD and again familiarity breeds contempt they knew I was suffering PTSD from a botched liver operation and malpractice. 2005 that's when I was told I had five years before I would need a liver. That's when they showed up in my life with concern.

I Used to wake up in Fight or Flight anxiety Every Morning. Very Sick & I Swear he Knew what he was doing bc he'd say "When you die, that Car is mine"

I've been Betrayed by my Entire family.
My ex husband Used him when he was little to make my life HELL. He opened him up to be able to be Brainwashed.
My sister dropped dead and Pandora's Box opened & the Lid Blew Off!
My sister Brainwashed my son for 3 years after my Brother's Very hard death.
It's a long Story but the best way to Sum it up is Jim Morrison's, People are Strange. I'm Struggling, but working through it. I have been Isolated for a long time. It Started Slowly. My Son pushed Everyone away with his Bad behavior, instilled by his father. I'm 64 now and he hasn't talked to me in a year and a half.
He won't answer any texts. He wants to hurt me and he has, however it's time to Move On. 🙏 to Anyone who experiences this situation.

How about a combat veteran who was abused in several ways as a kid and gang beaten while restrained by three different departments in two separate incidents and had literally every family member die or betray or flat out destroy every aspect of their character and literally every principle or ideal he ever held prove itself to be hypocrisy or excuses to justify abuse? At what point is it socially acceptable for this person to just wear a warning label and kill everybody stupid enough to push his buttons? Is two out of his three kids getting killed and the other one being basically bought out from under him by the Mormon church paying off judges ? Is that enough. Or the stepdad who raised him murdering his mom and stealing his 700k$ inheritance on top of it ? Is that enough. Fuck it yea it is. Fuck society and the law that has no justice in it whatsoever. Fuck this system and Fuck therapy all that does is con people into being compliant litte sheep worse it’s keeping people who deserve justice from getting any at their own expense. Therapy doesn’t help you get vindication it gives you no justice. It just teaches you how to accept being abused and victimized in a quiet docile way that STILL MANAGES TO BENIFIT YOUR ABUSERS INSTEAD OF PUNISHING THEM. FUCK FORGIVENESS MAKE THEM SUFFER! Why is it that the victim is always the one asked to be the bigger person? Fuck that. The fuckin pos should have thought of that before they intentionally did what they did. The law doesn’t make victimizers pay for their wrongdoing it protects them and makes them rich on top of it.
