His mentioning of Waluigi twice was foreshadowing to Unraveled season 2's finale where he auditioned to become Waluigi in a Waluigi game which he created the idea for. His plan to join Polygon was a ploy to pitch that idea all along.

I love how much effort he put in even to the beggining. The font and transition, the title, the front-facing camera with bad lighting, low resolution, and terrible framerate. It really sold the look and made the contrast of jumping into song pop so much more.

he’s wearing this same suit for his last video on polygon, imma cry

If he didn't make this cover letter we never would've heard him say "Who doesn't love a little erotic lizard fiction?"

Then he made the unraveled series where hes just super anxious about everything

it's so cool how he basically said he admired pat's work at polygon and now they're good friends and collabing on livestreams and videos. we started from the bottom now we here.

I wonder if he feels weird about the fact that his job application sometimes gets stuck in people's heads.

He's wearing the exact herringbone tweed jacket on his last Unraveled. We've gone full circle.

Unraveled might be over but BDG is forever.

Now, he is the best thing on Polygon.

I still think it’s hilarious how he uses the stock YouTube editing kit for the intro to throw them off when he actually does some cool editing shit

Now here we are, BDG is leaving polygon for greener pastures. And he succeeded in what he wanted to do. He formed a nice community and provided harmless entertainment and joy to people all over the world. He set plenty of people’s minds at ease. I hope he does well on his future endeavors

Imagine being the guy in charge of reviewing cover letters and resumes at Polygon. You've watched eight generic video cover letters in the last hour and then you see THIS.

The line "Things that help an anxious guy like me feel at ease" kills me because I watch unraveled to ease my anxiety

such an inspiration

I love the emotional roller coaster it puts the application reviewer through. “Hmm, cheap intro graphic with no taste in fonts, and he seems kind of uncomfortable in front of a camera.
Oh, it was a ruse!! He’s very skilled and confident!!
Aw darn, we don’t have the budget to hire some weird package deal twin situation.
Oh, the twin was a ruse as well!! You’ve done it again, you charming young video producing wizard!”

Brian’s degree seems to be more useful as a prop than as an actual academic qualification.

Now, as Brian leaves Polygon we all realize he was right. He and the other folks at Polygon did so much more than just a video about a game

I mean, you could show this to anyone and they’d hire you. I’d hire you right now. Your hired.

Imagine if they just immediately threw his application away as soon as they saw the blue screen and 240p video.
