We're a one paycheck a month family, when money get tight we live on breakfast food. Eggs, toast milk, pancakes/waffles, and cereal are a way of life for us.

Girl…we sympathize and empathize with you because we are experiencing the same thing. I definitely got more bills than money coming in but I continue to do what I can with what I got. I refuse to stress anymore because I know God is in control and he will definitely make a way. 😊 By the way, love the “besties”..❤

I heard my words coming out of your mouth, "I need to be a better steward of what He provides." Thanks for the great video and reminder. 💸 🙏🏾 ❤

Girl, I feel you. The last 30 days has been a whirlwind. I feel like timing is divine though 🙏
I've come a long way from living paycheck to paycheck, eating peanut butter crackers for dinner when I was broke. Sleeping in my car at one point. Beginning of May I booked a plane ticket for my first real vacation. Got myself hooked up with a nannying gig making extra 600 each month. Then my car pooped itself, 4k I didn't have to fix a beater. Kicking myself for not saving, I got into a car loan and felt pretty anxious about the payments. Right when I did that my work place started being really toxic. I felt targeted and started job searching, now with more options with a more dependable car. I found a new job and gave my notice, and was walked out on the spot. Sh*t had really hit the fan and escalated. I start my new job, with a pay raise and shorter commute, next week. I will get my vacation hours paid out. But in the meantime, I am thankful for this nanny gig, as it is holding me over. Just this week in a few hours I have earned over half my rent 🙏 a week after I got my new car I realized the transmission was slipping. The freaking odds. But this time the warranty department is paying for a new transmission and a rental. My point is, life happens but God will provide. It will be okay.

I love your transparency, thanks for sharing I think everyone should start Living below their means" adjust their lifestyle, be frugal, budget, save and invest. This helped me out as a 6 figure earner. I've grown over half a million in retirement savings with this method

Stumbled across this video while in the middle of learning to budget and having an anxiety attack. “ Trusting God” is definitely something I needed to hear and being a good steward over what he’s blessed me with. Thank you for this video! You definitely have a new follower!

When I calculate my bills for the month, I get paid once a month, I include everything, such as gas, groceries and pet food. This has helped me tremendously. Even though I don’t have any money left over, I know that I can cover my expenses.

It is so refreshing to see someone else in the same boat as me. Not that I would wish it upon someone to not have enough for bills and things like that but it's what my husband and I have struggled with for long and I feel like I don't know how to get out of this hole that is not being able to cover bills/expenses and things like that... it's difficult when you feel like you've already cut out so much!

I like the name change, it's nice to see a content creator that has stated the problem alot of us may have more bills than income. X

The fact that you were having a tighter month on your income yet you still put money away for others is incredible. Xx

New Sub here. I appreciated that your paycheck to paycheck budget was real.
I have followed other budgeting channels, and they’re just not realistic. They have all this money coming in they’re able to pay their bills are able to have all this cash on hand and take all these trips and I came across your channel and I feel you. I was just in the same position the other day after I did my budget by paycheck, Workbook and the amount of bills that had to go out versus what we had left over was barely anything, so I was able to relate. We are a family of five. I am a full-time stay at home mom, my children are young adults and my husband is the sole income so that should tell you something lol.

Hello! love your videos and appreciate your transparency. For my household, we cancelled cable and kept internet only, which was a huge savings. Their is peacock, tubi which has so many updated movies and other stuff to watch. Hope this helps. 🙂

I’d get a Ring doorbell and get rid of ADT! This is coming from a real estate agent lol. The sales reps for ADT hound on new homeowners and make them feel like it’s a necessity. That’s a lot of money for something you might never use. Ring doorbell or some other safety system that’s similar at least provides some peace of mind. Just a suggestion!

I believe right now Peacock has a special for $19.99 for a full year. That could help supplement the cable as well.

New Budget Bestie here 😊. I appreciate you making this video To cancel your cable and keep the internet, call the provider and state exactly that. I've done it with Spectrum and they usually end up giving me a discount to stay a customer or offer me a different package at a lower cost.

I am on the same boat. More bills then money. I just started doing hardship programs for the credit cards i have. For example one of my credits minimum payment is around $130 but with the hardship program it is going to be reduced to $99 for 6 months and lower interest too. They will suspend my spending ability but it does help to break my habit of constantly using my credit cards.

I've just joined your channel a little while ago. You're very relatable. Realistic. Sometime the bills are more than the money brought in. And then we find a way. I am on the cut the cable team. I'm in Canada but haven't had cable for 5+years. Pluto, tubi are free. Roku has a lot of free stuff as well, and they're not much money. With cable I just find that you only watch a few of the channels but pay for 100. Good luck on your financial journey!

It took me 3 years of going back and forth before I cut cable. I am so glad I did. I keep Hulu and Paramount Plus all the time, and every 6 months or so, I'll add Netflix or something else for a month or two, get caught up and then cancel it.
