I really liked this video because it was real in so many ways… even down to your nails, which by the way it took me a minute to get use to seeing your hands without the nails but you have nice natural nails. I was in same boat this week. I had to borrow from my envelopes to pay some bills.

July budget has been a hard month for me. I was in the hospital for the last 2 weeks of June and had to empty my binders to get through the beginning of July. I was so discharge but I took it as a lesson. One thing that I learned is cash budgeting definitely works and that I want to continue with the system. My last two paychecks I have had to use option 2 for my budget. Just bare bones budgeting. I didn't put anything in sinking funds, extra debt, or savings. I also only had two categories for my variable expenses... Gas and Groceries. I has been a hard few weeks but all bills are paid and we still can eat! Looking forward to August budget so I can get back to saving! Thanks for this I helps to know that even someone who has been budgeting for a lot longer then myself can have hiccups in there budget too. I also was able to get confirmation that the way I handle the situation was the right way to do it. 😀
