My bills are often late because I drag my feet from stubbornness as I hate living paycheck to paycheck. Your positive outlook on budgeting has motivated me to be writing checks at 5am right now, to stay on top of them. Thanks for the kick start and inspiration you bring!

Carter - isn't it amazingly blessed that you are NO longer stressed by payday - I actually LOOK FORWARD to pay days now - when in the past it was dread nausea and avoidance sometimes for months ...NOW I am JOYFUL about payday - GOSH life is good - glenda

I'm a recovering control freak, so it took me a while to get comfortable with setting bills up for autopay, but I'll never go back. It makes life so much easier. I told my husband that as long as the credit card companies don't find out I've died, the bills will continue to be taken care of on autopilot once I'm gone. 😂 Our approach is a tiny bit different since I have the bills auto paid by a credit card (except the mortgage, unfortunately) and then the credit cards are set up to pay off the full statement balance each month. I don't like things coming directly out of the checking account if I can help it. (It's just easier to deal with fraudulent charges with a credit card company than with a bank in my experience.)

Would you be willing to share how you do the spreadsheet? I really am intrigued by how you have it all organized out and would like to make a spreadsheet just like yours. I appreciate your videos!!

Awesome video!! Do you create a new sheet each pay period or do you build on it since it’s a monthly tracker? Just curious on what your tracker looks like and how you fill it out on pay period 2. Maybe I’m over thinking it lol!

#carter I signed on as a co partner in a life insurance company and part of it is easy to do taxes and budget because part of it’s a flat rate I am paid each month but the majority of my income is commission.
How do you do your taxes when it comes to income if it’s self employed like YouTube

Does Canada have 75 hour pay periods? I've never heard that before. In the US, it's 80 hour pay periods.
