I took the Dave Ramsey course years ago and the perspective you get on money is on a whole different level. I am now debt free and no car note no credit card debt. I have an emergency fund which makes up almost 4 months if I were to lose my job.

Hi i just wanted to say something that works for me. (I get paid every week on Monday) and most of my bills are do at the end of the month so I pay a little bit to each of them every week. Then at the end of the month they are paid off and I'm not hit with multiple big bills.

Girl. I just had to share this score today because it was very lucky. I used my fetch points for bath and body works. It was only $15, well I went in today to get a lotion with it. The sale was $5.95 for body care. I got a lotion, a soap, and spritz for my fetch points +$3 😂 I just scored. It’s rare I don’t shop sales, I just got lucky, had to share. 🍀

I have a separate bill account and I love it. I do cash if I have to save up for like a trip but my general savings I have 3 accounts (emergency, car, and holiday).

I pay bills on payday too because the longer it sits there it’s too tempting to play games. I schedule what payments I can for payday but my rent and utilities don’t seem to do well like that so before I get out of bed on payday I’m online paying those.

Thank you so much for all the detailed information! I have been working for a while now since I graduated. I used to do some budgeting here and there especially when I was tight on cash but never stuck too much on it (besides paying the biggest bills such as rent and food). I'd waste so much money, especially on ant spending and since I never tracked more of my expenses, it left me feeling like "wow, where did my money go?" but seeing a budget so organized feels so good!
