TF2 Is In DANGER And Valve NEED To Fix This... (Lagbot Hackers...)

Over the past couple days it has come to my attention that casual servers in TF2 are under attack. I decided to take them on myself and see exactly just how these aimbot/lagbot snipers were working. Valve NEED to fix these lagbots because casual right now is simply unplayable. We NEED an update to the Vac system. TF2 in 2020 is at a serious risk. Leave a like if you enjoyed and leave your thoughts down below!

If valve finds out who is making all this chaos, they 100% are able to sue them for shutting down their servers. This is Illegal and valve must take action.

Edit: Valve fixed the server crashing in their latest patch (7th of April). Let’s hope it will put it to a stop.

Apparently, Lagbots will only stay for about 25 seconds after running their crash routine. Running the command "cl_timeout 1000" should be enough to thwart them (for now).

One day, somebody waked up and said: "hey what about exploiting a command of the console in TF2 to make a server crash?"

Some people just want to see the world burn. Even more in this period of forced quarantine.

Valve needs to implement a Capcha system into Steam itself. Make it to where you have to confirm you're "not a bot", insert numbers and letters before you can make an account. This way, sure, bots could still be made. But it will be harder to mass produce thousands of them at a time. Perhaps afterward, with TF2, you have to have it installed for like... a week or something before you can play it on a fresh account? But, that last part might be going a bit too far.

I heard people talking about how trust factor negatively affects new players the trust factor does also look for
Hours in other steam games
And give reports a sense of purpose in tf2

before this i rarely found hackers, i would find one hacker in 100 games maybe but now every game has hackers.

This is honestly so sad since I played tf2 literally a day before the whole 'lagbot' things ensued. In a way there was a hint of the coming chaos. Half of the matches I played had bots. Fortunately both teams cooperated in votekicking but sometimes we'd hit a snag when someone would try to call a vote but they would get a message saying "this player cannot be kicked". The bot would also call votes to kick the lowest ranking player.

I really hope Valve steps in soon.

This entire situation managed to pull me out of the game for a full week. I'm pretty sure these cheaters are under the influence that "TF2 is dead, we should use cheats and piss people off for fun while the servers are still running".
I'll accept exploiters or trolls as they at least had a clever way to make people mad, but cheaters are as cheap and worthless as the clients they used to cheat from. It's still fine and fair if you're able to "stop a game" based on your skill, coordination, or knowledge of exploits, even if it doesn't feel like it. You get more enjoyment when you're able to annoy the entire game on a skill or exploit you've discovered and practised over and over, but to get a cheat that just ruins the game for you? It defeats the purpose of " playing a game". It's useless and now it's hurting communities. There is no excuse for fun with these exploits. There's no in-game reaction, there's no in-game anger. It now just looks like an agenda against the community.

I shouldn't be this angry while making a sandwich.

My question for these cheaters is: "why?"

Just met a hacker named "Server killer" in casual, hence his name, he killed the server and ruined it for everyone.

It seems that an update was released today that, according to the notes, "fixed a server crash exploit". TF2 is safe once again, I believe.

To be honest, I’d rather have to deal with aimbots, because then I can at least play the game.

It's so depressing. I remember 6 years ago enjoying playing tf2 as a kid and now it's just filled with bots in every server I go to. Tragic

just to clarify, that Trust Factor thing only reduces the impact of cheating, it doesn't prevent anything.

I feel like a alt question is "how did this start".

I mean, I'm questioning how the lag bots even were made.
