I'm struggling with it again after coming back from a family vacation. I've caught myself struggling to go out bc i feel so out of body and it's werid. But you're absolutely right. You have to lean in and teach your mind it'll be ok

Great advice, man. I needed that. I've been praying, meditating and reading the Bible. The other day I was starting to shake and feel terror in my chest. I paused internally and said to myself "let it happen, I'm here now" and it eased off. We have to challenge our fear, challenge our terror

I have struggled on and off with derealization since ive had a weed induced panic attack in 2019. I became extremely anxious and depressed for a year, eventually I started to slowly recover and it has been ups and downs but Ive been pretty in control and stable for the last 2 to 3 years now. Some minor stepbacks along the way ofc. But recently, was exposed to second hand weed smoke and it triggered me to become anxious again. Came back home and had a panic attack... Ive had feelings and sensations come back that I havent felt in a while and it really got me this time... Just like I was thrown into that first panic attack... I know how dpdr works, I know that I have to be accept this sensations and move on until they lose their power, but its so hard. Its late at night and Im struggling a bit. Nights are always what get me the most, bc my first panic attack was at night and also bc I have to be by myself in bed, alone with my own thoughts and feelings... Thankfully my dog helps me calm down for the moment. Just felt like putting it into words after watching the video. To everyone who is also struggling, recovery is possible, I know bc Ive felt it, setbacks happen and we are gonna get through them! Love you all! ❤
