I caught me fish sleeping once. It scared the shit out of me. I walked in and they were all floating at the surface, but as soon as I flipped on the light they woke up and we're back to their fishy selves

My fish do sleep a lot 😂 I sometimes caught them not moving at all. They are just floating. Everytime that you would go near them, that's the time they are awake and swim 😍

I took a nap today and I’m right in the view of my betta and he starts “napping with me” he scared me for a second when I woke up and he was still snoozing but luckily he was ok.
Now it’s bed time and he has nestled himself in his plant for the night 😂
He’s so cute I love him

My angelfish sleeps, his eyes are pale white instead of red in the morning and he just floats around then perks up when I turn on the light.

Two of my fishes were not letting other fishes eat the food so we kept the other two fishes separately in a jug when we give them food one of the fish in the jug fell out from the jug even I didn't see it jumping out of the jug then my brother came a noticed that one of the fish was not there then we searched and I found it under the table we all thought it was dead we almost throwed it then it started moving slowly then we kept it back in the aquarium and now it's finally enjoying 😊

i got my fish a day ago and i found it trapped behind the filter. i thought it was sleeping and tapped the glass but it didnt move. i tried to put my hand in there and it still didnt move. its sad. he actually died. rip blue fish. im gonna have to get another one soon since i only have 4 tetra fish now and they need to be in groups of at least 5

Is it a good idea to turn off the tank light so they can sleep? And, should the fish tank be full somewhat so they can be closer the air surface to get fresh air every so often? Just asking if anyone can help? I have small fish and their mostly orange and black in their tail and a silver body, what are they? Thanks if anyone would like to help please? 😊😅❤😊
