Please can you tell me if these tests can damage the ligament further? I’m always very nervous when these tests are performed on my knee as I have grade 3 PCL tear and I feel that by doing these manipulations they’ll tear it completely and damage other ligaments too.

About twenty five years ago, I fell on the on the ground and received a severe internal injury on my my left knee. I consulted many doctors. They prescribed pain killers and gels but a little betterment in pain. So, I decided to do MRI by myself which showed fanning of the fibres of ACL of left knee. Moderate sprain and partial tear in ACL. I can walk easily but I cannot run. What will be its treatment?

I have symptoms of an ACL tear however 4 days after the injury I have near complete range of motion back and can walk without any pain. Is it likely I just strained it?

I was playing football and I fell on my knee with a ton of force in the second quarter. keep in mind I'm 260 pounds. I felt it bend inwards. I was in a ton of pain but I was afraid of getting pulled out the game so I played on it and finished the game. It hurt for all night but felt better the next morning. It was fine all weekend but I went to practice and it hurt like hell afterwards. It is really swollen and black and blue. I have a little limp. Did I tear it or am I being a sissy?

My brother thinks that he has alc tear. He even consult it to the doctor when it occurs forthe first time but the doctor says that there are no complications found. But we are worried because nowadays, everytime that he plays basketball, his knees hurts. Does he need to consult again to the doctor?

Or you can just give the patient the MRI.. Because if he does have a torn Acl that test will bring more pain and possible more damage. MRI will give the diagnoses and all set for the next decisions on getting better...no in pain patient means happy patient
