Tore mine completely almost 20 years ago, never got it fixed or treated. Can't afford it in America, even though I had full coverage as a foster child, they wanted to charge my Foster father $67, 300 as his Co-pay for taking care of a ward-of-the-state.
Well I am in my 30s now and my knee now can bend ~45⁰ the opposite direction. There's little to no pain, I can still walk, and I usually walk around 12 miles a day in total. No brace, but I have really messed up my hip from compensation.

thank you for that demonstration. omg !!! how was she able to walk without falling down with that level of knee instability ? So I thought I tore my ACL because I felt a pop in my knee - but the Dr evaluated it and said I did not tear it (no Xray or MRI done). But I do have the occassional 'knee-buckling' (?). I haven't fallen yet when my knee buckles, my I feel I am just one knee-buckle away from hitting the deck.

Hello sir,
I did MRI scan yesterday after 1 months of injury.
Here is report point :

1.Complete tear visualized in the proximal 3rd of anterior cruciate ligament.

2.Mild diffuse interstitial tear visualized in the distal 2/3d of anterior cruciate ligament.

3.Bucket handle tear of medial meniscus visualized. The displaced inner fragment visualized in the intercondylar region.

I don't have much pain, I can move, do cycling and swimming. But Doctor suggested me to go for surgery. What should I do?

Does this test typically hurt the patient? Also, will there be pain when putting weight on this joint with a torn ACL?

Hey maybe you can help me, I had this test done and no one thought mine was torn but I got an MRI and I apparently have a complete ACL tear. They had me doing physical therapy doing squats and shit is that okay!?!

Does it always move like that with an acl tear? The mri supposedly showed I have a tear but mine never moved like that . The therapist did a couple of test on me. I feel there trying to get a payday with surgery. I’m feeling better every single day. I’m going to get a couple opinions since I got injured thru work there doctors suck imo
