Thanks! One of my kitty girls has been having acne for about five months now. I've been using Witch Hazel wipes daily and it works great. Some days she has more breakouts, but after deep cleansing it comes under control again.

One of my cats has had chronic chin acne. But I think I've finally figured out why. I think he's allergic to Brewer's Yeast (not Nutritional Yeast). Every time I feed him food with that ingredient it comes back. I put him on a limited ingredient food and then slowly introduced other foods to figure out the culprit. Hope it helps those with the similar issues. Pay attention to their diet. He's been fine for over a year.

My cat, Pascal, has feline acne. She has developed pustules as well! I have noticed they aren't ingrown hairs, but just pustules. I clean them with vetricyn and apply Vaseline to the wounds and they have all healed up pretty nicely. I just have to clean the scabs every so often.

My cat has acne..his skin is inflammed...im shampooing his chin every mornimg and night with Chlorhexidine shampoo, leave 10mins..wah..wipe with witch hazel, put decomed wound cream and switched his bowls to stainless steel and glass. But acne is still spreading. I dunno what to do. Bringing him to vet tomorrow 😭😭😭

I switched my cat to stainless steel bowls and washed her chin + Polysporin gone forever in a couple weeks.

Can this happen in the armpits with hairloss ? My cat has backhead type of things and hairloss in his armpit

Never had a white chinned cat before.. starting seeing what I thought was remnants of fleas. Nope.. it was kitty acne. Cleaned it.. not an issue anymore. Thanks!!

Hi my cat has some bad cat acne, the blackheads are getting worse around his mouth actually and has a few rhat are red and bleed sometimes kinda look like a pimple that popped and bled, I have special cleaner from the vet but it doesn’t seem to be working and I noticed the rest of my cats have it too just not as bad

Love my cat and am scared for him, but don't want to be an overreacting Momma. My cat has a lump behind his ear and I am pretty certain it is not an abscess. I brush and love on him pretty much daily at least :) ...can't have been there very long? So, it must be fast growing/appearing, is about the size of a grape, almond/egg shaped, very firm, not painful to him-even while I palpate, and is pretty movable. No signs of rupture, ulcerating nor do I feel any fluctuation.

How concerned do you think I should be and do you think I should take him in to be seen by the vet? Perhaps an enlarged Lymph node, would you think? but I don't see any signs of an active infection...

Thx for the info! Also, my small blond pom gets crusty brown things on lower right and left corners of his mouth? What is it and is it ok to pick it off daily?? I've never had a dog do this before....

i've been slowly clearing the acne from my 'kitten's' chin (he's 3 but i still call him a kitten). i use betadine to clean after i squeeze. i looked at his chin for the first time since i got him (over 2 years ago) and they werent just the blackheads you could scratch off- these were big and deep and very stuck. we're about 3/4 of the way through them now. there were clusters of them, so when you'd squeeze one, it would make 3 more angry. sometimes i have to poke a hole in the surface just to get to some that were big with no opening. anyone else amazed at how cat pus is hard like stones?
