Now I'm going to show you a passé. There's two versions. You can either do a turned-out version or a parallel. Passé looks like this. The baby toe is connected to right underneath the kneecap and the knee is turned out to the side. The other leg, just like that. Knee nice and turned out, triangle shape. Parallel, arms up, passé. Lifted knee, high up, lower stomach activated. Long neck, long spine, knees high, other leg. Passé. Now I'm going to show you an excellent passé combination to teach your students.

Starting out in the first position, arms up. You push off the foot into the passé four times to the right. One, two, three, four. Nice plié, lift up balance. Lower, left side. One, two, three, four. Nice plié and first, lift up balance. You can do the same thing in parallel. One, two, three, four. Plié in neutral. Passé, lift up balance.Other side. One, two, three, four. Plié, lift up and lengthen. Great.

When you're doing this passé combination, be sure to lengthen through your torso and it's also good to focus up to find your balance. Arms up. Shoulders down. Make sure that foot is connected to your inner thigh. Other side. Hold, hold, hold and lengthen. Nice work.

Easier for beginners if you could do that not showing your face but showing your back :(
