help! I'm wondering how to describe an object in past tense (passé composée) - does it follow the 'il' structure, e.g. if I wanted to say 'the tv broke' would I say 'la tele a cassé' ?

Does this mean that le participe passé is the same as passé composé?

and the meaning was given to read and participe passe was lu in the sentence of the verb lire. Actually it should be lire

0:37 is wrong. Le plus-que-parfait is the pluperfect and le passé antérieur is the past perfect.

At 2:07 If I were referring to a group of girls, wouldn't it be, "Elles sont allés à la piscine"? Because "Nous sommes allés à la piscine" is we went to the pool.
