Shoulder, chest, and triceps workout (plus abs). Followed by a ten-mile run (or more like a five-mile run and five-mile walk). Felt GREAT. For sure a mood booster. Either through the physical increase of chemicals in the brain or via the sense of accomplishment. Love it. Highly recommend. Thank you for watching!

Thanks for the arm jiggle pep talk - I really needed to hear that! Trauma over.

It’s so funny to me that Patty doesn’t ever explain herself. “No bench today cuz… nah.” And that’s that!😂

Hey Patty, thanks for saying hi and taking a picture with me on Friday! Sorry I was so nervous and was hoping to not be a bother 😭 Absolutely made my day and I hope you enjoyed the vibes at the gym 😊

The way that your mood seemed to have changed from the beginning of your run to after, just goes to show it makes your brain happy. You’ve inspired me to start running.

Girl i came across you just over a year ago, showed your picture to a personal trainer and said 'i want that pls'. A year later and whilst i do not look like you, I've found something i love that i sick at really well and has me in the best shape of my life and I'm so happy.
Your videos have given me workout inspo, reminded me to stretch and I've made a bunch of your recipes (protein rice crispy bars are such a win).
Thank you so much, it's weird because i personally put so much work into this but i think maybe coming across you changed my life❤

I could be wrong, but I don't remember Patty smiling that much after a video in the gym. The cardio has been good to you, you have a beautiful smile! You rock, girl!! Love the video and the vibe

It's a great message that you do the cardio because you enjoy it and that the gains are not the end all be all. Gotta work the heart. But the diaper water is devastating. 🤧

Thanks for sharing, Patty. I used to hate running when I was younger. You know there was always that one kid who almost always walked because they just sucked at running..that was me!

Now.. I wouldn't say I love it, but I do certainly appreciate the benefits of a good run.

In my late 30s, I bought myself an elliptical trainer & worked my way up to 5k on that. After that, I took it outside, & continue to feel the benefits of that.

I think that whatever exercise routine I may do in the future, running will always be a staple of it.

Thanks again for the video. I'm a recent subscriber, making my way through both your newer & older videos. You've got a great channel.

It's pretty cool to see your diaphragm/ribs rise in a wave before you do your shoulder press motion. I've recently done the same with core brace + leg drive when benching. Keeps me solid in form and feels like I can move more.

and bless you on going on a longish run, I've detoured from that path onto walks, stair hikes, or bike rides

thanks Patty, great content!!!

I appreciate the bit about the arm jiggle. It's one of the few things I don't like about my body, BUT to hear you say that it's perfectly normal makes me feel better!

Patty patty patty your running outfit was awesome you look so sporty and running doesn’t kill gym gains not eating right kills gains…. The cut is looking great and I’m happy to see you cut out the powerlifting for now and doing more athletic/ bodybuilding workouts …plus remember workouts are supposed to be something you enjoy and have fun doing…but those arms patty your getting to a whole other level buddy

Another great video kiddo. I thoroughly enjoy watching your progress. You are one of the few genuine people out there doing this stuff. Keep up the good work.

The sound effects to all of ms leanbeefpatty's vids are everything. It's what drew me to her page in the first place, nevermind the obvious fitness consistency

Patty, you are looking FABULOUS! Gains come in all sizes...sometimes they are external, sometimes internal, sometimes physical and sometimes mental, sometimes invisible or unrecognized by others or oneself. But if you are feeling healthy, happy and looking beautiful (as you do) then you are not only making gains....but you're winning the game of life. Either way, I'm cheering for you my friend.

Hybrid athlete here, I love long distance running and heavy lifting. I ran my 7th marathon last April, during the training cycle I continued my intense lifting cycle of 5 days a week, while running 4-5 days, only thing I cut out was my 3rd leg day which is normally Friday, once my Saturday long runs reached 14 miles. I actually shaved 22 minutes off my marathon time, from 4 hours and 48 minutes and some change to 4 hours and 26 minutes and some change 💪 and I didn't lose any muscle.
