I thought my INTJ ex was an INFP while we were together and that will never not bother me. For some reason, I tend to confuse those two.

I used to think I was mistyped, but all of my values, actions, overall natural self (or just being me) only aligned with this type. I did think I was an ISTJ for a little while, but my Si was very weak compared to Ni. Especially when I become “activated”, my Ni-Te becomes hyperactive.

James Hetfield of Metallica is a great example of the ISFP vs. INTJ argument. He has high Ni and Fi, but the MBTI community can't decide his type, myself included.

My best friend is an Entj. I am an Intj T. He's basically the evil version of me. I respect him for that, but I have several contingencies in place just incase he goes rogue. Lol.

It’s hard for me to think an INTJ could be mistyped as ISFP. I think it’s more believable that the other types are mistyped as INTJ.
I’m ENFP, and it’s very clear to me when I’m around INTJ, it’s like wondering around in a world where only a few people can speak your language, you know when you find one.

I do suspect my youngest is an INTJ, although she thinks she is an ISFP.

This makes a lot of sense given the shared functions and I see it a lot, I’m actually surprised INFP / ISTJ isn’t a more common mistype also. That I only see the odd time

i KNOW i'm not mistyped because i've retaken the test about 10 times and i answer honestly all the time and the results never change- lol

i thought i was intj for a while but i think i might be entp but also who cares lol
