NASA Reveals First Real Pictures of Pluto!

Almost 3.7 billion miles away from the sun, there exists a small, dark world that was once the ninth planet of the solar system. Today, Pluto is officially just a Trans-Neptunian object. Shortly after the planet was downgraded, NASA's New Horizons probe reached this hitherto almost unknown world. The measurement data surprised everyone, and for the very first time, NASA was able to publish real images of Pluto. We are now excited to embark on a journey to one of the most unusual celestial bodies in the solar system, together with you.

Pluto and Ceres Are planets just small, that was not a reason to demote Pluto from the title, that's like all of a sudden saying that Earth is not a planet because of it's size compared to other planets or to other exoplanets
