This is nothing more than photo manipulation done on a crappy computer with a crappy image manipulation app. The JWST is not a refractor telescope, there are diffraction spikes everywhere. This is complete B.S.! $10 billion and we can't get an actual picture? Everyone should be outraged at this image. If you do not know how telescopes work and how NASA claims the JWST is constructed, then ok I can see the excitement, but I do know how they work and what is claimed about the JWST and this image is FAKE!!!
