Just discovered you from YT shorts and awesome stuff man. I’m just obsessed with kicks with T-Rex arms but 6’3 my range sucks but an unblockable kick from a mile away is super satisfying

I used to practice shorin Ryu shorinkan karate when I was a little kid and I used to be so disobedient and unmotivated and now, I've turned fully opposite. I'm going to the same dojo, same sensei, and I now have a burning motivation, an undying impatience, to do it again and right the wrongs that I've done now that I'm more motivated, mature, disciplined and wiser. Even though I must wait till fall I don't wanna wait but watching and putting your videos into use feeds it.

Most kicks aren't actually that skill intensive to preform. Landing them accurately and with power is a different story, but just executing a kick, while it can seem impossible is actually not that hard. You probably are moving your body rather correctly, but you lack the flexibility and strength. I struggled to do any sort of kick and after improving my flexibility it just works. Same technique and Suddenly they just go higher and are actually functional.
