Hi there, great video. This all very new to me but I can definitely see the appeal of running all home automation on one platform. I’m about to invest in a Pi, happy to use your links. Just one quick Q - as this is an old video would I be better off getting the 4th gen? Thanks

Nice Video Lee. I hope to see more on the Home Assistant. Many of us are just starting out in Home Automation and videos like yours help us out a lot.
BTW. In this video, I see you used ethernet only. Would be a nice second video in the series to show the wireless setup and some basic configurations. I took a look at the wireless and it appeared a bit involved.

Do you have to install the Raspbian OS before installing homekit?

Hey! I did everything the same even my router is showing rpi connected to my WiFi, but when I search for my IP home assistant screen doesn't show up. I am using rpi3b+ with 32gb class 10 Samsung SD card. What can I do to obtain that screen? Thanks in advance.
