Since you love firewalls you should do a video on your firewall and general network setup! I've been hoping you'd do just that for a while. I'm a "former" network geek that really needs to up my home setup and would love to see how someone with a home automation has setup their network.

I'd love to see a video dedicated to only Home Assistant on this board. Adding Zigbee & Z-Wave dongles, configuration and setup of a few devices. Check whether there are issues with port/device collision (example: Zooz Z-Wave dongle with Sonoff Zigbee, both having the same SiLabs name)

Great video. Love your content, this was definitely more chilled than some(most) of your other ones but a nice change

Lewis, I liked the overview style video. I had heard of the Zimaboard, but hadn't given it any attention. So this video filled in the blanks through a content provider that I know and trust. What a cool device. Gunna get one!

Thanks for the casual unboxing and overview Lewis! Great video. 😁

This looks super slick! I have unraid on my home server, and it does all of this, but it requires a lot more user input to install apps. This seems like a great way for anyone to just all the basics up and running. Really cool!

This thing looks great. I'd like to get one and definitely would like to see a full setup tutorial for sure! I'm looking into something for my new house and want a home server and I'd love to see if this thing would be easier/better than a full custom build

Loved the video and the hardware preview. Really nice and chilled. Would like to see what this device will do under some load (normal home use)

Thank you for another great video. I did enjoy this side. Food for thought: Maybe try doing 2 channels like Smart Home Solver / Reed's Smart Home did. One he pretty much sticks to reviews and the other is deeper dives. I do enjoy your full reviews but it is nice to see this side as well and would be a great way to learn about new products and release in a chill setting

Thanks very good job you covered all the things I was interested in. Especially the operating system. I also think it’s a compelling thing to buy as well.

Loved the video like the more relaxed style, informative and I will definitely be buying this.

I rarely comment on videos but I'm severely lacking in firewall knowledge and considering you said you loved firewalls and things, I would love to watch a series or something of you talking about firewalls!

This is a great alternative for a pi for sure. I have a intel Nuc and have installed proxmox on it. Running a VM with home assistant in it so i can get the full OS supervised version of HA. Plus running a lot of containerized lxc and docker containers, (pi-hole, most of the arr's, openmediavault, vaultwarden, and many more). But this will be great for those that don't want to go down the VM, Container rabbit hole 😄

That looks great, looking for a replacement for my raspi ha right now. I'd really like to know how to work with this remotely (esp ha updates), it's not like a monitor is commonly found in a server rack 😋

It's interesting that you say that firewalls are your jam. Would you consider making a firewall series of videos? Choosing/setup/maintaining etc

Still having fun with mine. Actually considering moving HA setup from VVM on Synolgoy to one of those.

Hi Lewis, interesting to compare this to an iKOOLcore, which has a bit more CPU power and five times the network (4 x 2.5Gbps) in a smaller form factor for not much more. It isn't silent though but the M.2 slot is easily accessible and it takes standard USB 12-20V power. I bought the 16GB version, coupled with a 2TB Sabrent, INIU powerbank and WiFi-6 USB which doubled the price :-o Setting it up with Proxmox and hoping to have a portable cloud with Raspap, Nextcloud, Jellyfin and whatever else takes my fancy.
