I like your analogy of severe health anxiety being like a car alarm that goes off when the wind blows.

This video literally brought tears to my eyes. Before starting your program around 2 weeks ago I was a total mess, I was ready to succumb to a life full of anxious moments and scary physical symptoms. But today I can proudly say I'm so glad that I didn't and believed that I was so much more than anxiety. In two short weeks I've gone from being afraid to do anything that was physical that would get my heart pumping fast to walking at a quickened pace to alternating walking and jogging. The feeling of my heart pounding doesn't instill fear the way I used to allow it to instead it instills power and confidence. I don't take the bait anymore, I don't believe the lies anymore. My amygdala knows this too!! Haha!! Thank you so much Dennis for sharing your own personal struggle with anxiety and overcoming it and showing and empowering someone like myself to overcome it as well. 💗

I've noticed that when I'm feeling good I start to get anxious, it feels like my mind is sabotaging my progress and tries to convince me that I will always feel like this. That has been a big struggle for me this time around.

The anxiety guy, this has helped me so much watching your videos. The symptoms that you have had matches up to mine perfectly. And I’m currently going threw it. For the past 4-5 months. I experience dizziness everyday. Heart always racing. Muscle weakness. Wake up with cold sweats and thinkin I’m havin a heart attack or stroke whenever my heart races. And anxiety attacks every other day. Depersonalization (worst symptom). Racing thoughts. And I’ve had multiple multiple doctors appointments and they double checked everything. I even got a echocardiogram and for some reason i just couldn’t convince myself that it’s anxiety. Everyday i feel like I’m dying. For no apparent reason. But I’ve come to the point where i look at this as a growth. I’ve learned patience, respect, to not judge others etc. and it’s just truly amazing. The sooner you say I’m me not anxiety and i control my thoughts my thoughts don’t control me, things start to get easier. Threw this experience i want to become a therapist. I mean I’m not all the way to my normal self yet. Like i still have brain fog and racing thoughts and all that but i look at it differently than i did 4 months ago. I don’t turn to doctors anymore i don’t look up my symptoms. And I’m slowly very slowly getting there. It’s a huge process, and people like you that take their time to put such good advice and back story’s into videos helps a lot! I love watching the videos! Very much appreciated.

This video is exactly the message I needed to hear today. It's been a couple of challenging weeks for me, where it felt like a relapse. But I keep doing the skills I've learned from your videos and the program. I realize that I am making progress. Thank you so much for all you do. Blessings! <3

I honestly feel like you've hit the nail on the head saying that health anxiety can come from having an extremely powerful imagination. As you said, you can use your powerful imagination to turn it around. Unfortunately for me, it happened the other way around. I was full of ambition and was so certain that I had an insanely bright future, then around the time covid hit (which did nobody any favours mental health wise) my family had a catastrophe.

Within the space of a year, the side effects of my dad's medication landed him in the hospital, my brother who lives on the other side of the world had fluid in his heart causing him to also be hospitalised, my uncle was diagnosed with cancer, my grandma had a cardiac arrest and my dad had a stroke.

I spent the next few months sure that I had heart problems because of my chest pains, obsessively checking my moles, googling the symptoms for this, that and the other.

Luckily, none of my family have died and everyone is coming out of the other side of their health problems. The doctors checked my heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels etc. And determined that my chest pains were anxiety related, and what do you know? My chest pains stopped

I just love your videos, I purchased your program and I have made incredible progress in such a short period of time. You have a calm demeanor and are knowledgeable. Shame is something that has been one of my biggest struggles. This video is important and I thank you so much. I was afraid to interact with my fiancé, I was afraid to leave my house, I still have self imposed barriers but they are falling away with little effort to be honest! I seriously can't thank you enough 💕

I purchased the program last week and didn't start right away. I'm just thinking about it now because i've been so focused on my health problems (or what I think are problems) that i forgot about the program. about to listen to the first audio file right after this video. feeling hopeful!

imagining the worst scenario.thats exactly me! and now i think about it i used to think about worst scenarios from childhood espcialy about my parents health, even though there was nothing dangerous. but i don't know exactly why i thought like that back then maybe because of some tv series or movies.you know it was like a habit for me.and i never tried to fix it! and i could forget them and get over with them. its intresting how it turns to health anxiety and imagining worst scenarios about my physical body and my mind but this time i couldn't just get over with it.the problem is when i accidently read or hear about some dangerous physical or mental diseases or illnesses, my unconsious mind rapidly worries about it like what if i'm going to get them or what if i have symptoms of those illnesses or diseases and don't know that they are signs of those diseases!! or that i don't notice to these symptoms and without going to doctor they'll get worse! even without having any symptoms! still there are setbacks.i get up in morning with a lot of stress and fear.but in general i feel alot better than a few weeks ago when i compare.your channel is very helpful and precious for me especialy in this situation.thank you❤️

Thank you for this video, your knowledge and techniques have helped me tremendously. You have a true gift having actually been through health anxiety-in now you use your story to help others. Amazing. You inspire me . I am now learning to take control over my thoughts feelings and emotions, my life . Accountability fully . I'm on a one month journey as of today, I know you, mentioned a three month goal is a good time length . I've been using your techniques and affirmations daily, for a month now and can feel the change within . Anxiety really is a gift, it teaches . One thing that stands out in my mind, is being able to go to the store now, around people and not being in fear of my symptoms. Something as simple as that, a trip to the store, I appreciate. I have watched many many of your videos and podcasts. Do you have a video on driving anxiety?
