Oh by the way for those of you that don't know, using your gears is a way more effective way to slow yourself down then coasting in neutral. Just stay calm and no one to downshift. Downshift too quickly, and the wheel will be forced to spend slower than your speed it feels like it's locking up. Some riders do this on purpose to back the bike into a corner. But the gears will slow you down quick downshifts while hard on the front brakes

You can skip using the clutch while downshifting. It's called a manual blip

I used to do that from like a 6th gear drop, with the clutch in, put in neutral go by the cops stupi fast and because they couldn't hear the bike they wouldn't even look. It will save your but like when you are on US1 and is an early Saturday morning and the road is clear wide ans you start goin faster than tou should and miss the cop in the back of the gas station. 😂

On my shift lever, neutral is easy to spot due to it being like half a gear, and when in neutral the lever is more jerky than when a gear engaged
