The movie Tears of the sun is based on a true story, except instead of Navy Seals in Nigeria it was JTF2 in Columbia and in the real story nobody died in the JTF2.

My dad was the lead investigator for the crash in Kandahar that involved the griffon. Clipped a fence with the tail-rotor.
The chinook incident thankfully no one was killed. They received lots of small arms fire. Our airforce are also the best.

2010 in afghanistan was a bad year. We started off in Paktika prov then about half way we relieved the polish in Ghazni prov. We faught the tali, chech snipers and a bunch of foreigners. It was dubbed the Wild West. RC east was bad that year. Every day non stop. Fortunately as well we had no kia in my company. Choppin comany had 1 may our brother rest easy!! ⛩

Master Corporal Anthony Klumpenhouwer fell from an antennae. Killed in Action April 2007. His family said they were "misled" about the circumstances of his death.
