What system I would chose, if I knew what I know now, and only had very little money.

I just got myself a passion integre 100 watts integrated amp to pair with my proacs and tannoys. Nothing short of magic. Smooth!

What if you have around $10, 000 and a 40sq meter room?

Hello. I’d like to go the vinyl route with the YBA / Vandersteen combo. Do you have any recommendations for a phono stage/ preamp and a turntable to match ?

Hi. Due to Covid-19 and working from home, I've listened to more music the last year than the previous decade. It's been great and I finally resolved to start on the path of getting some decent hifi (existing setup is Cyrus/Dali/Audioquest). I'm currently limited by both economy and roomdesign (25 square meters, but having to place the speakers on the wall-to-wall bookshelf at the end of the room), but am expecting to spend a maximum of 10.000 dollars (it will take 5-10 years!) on the system. Scouring the internet, I serendipitously watched a couple of videos with Peter Qvortrup and I was sold, but damn it ain't cheap. Well, I just bought a couple of demo AX-Two from Audioconsult in Copenhagen, so I guess they do make entrylevel stuff. Sorry about this longwinded prolog to an actual question: how to proceed? I'm figuring a new amp is next in line, but would you go for a used Oto SE, Soto SE or Meishu - all used? I know you mention Meishu in the video, but you opted for Oto SE for your system. Someday I'll hopefully end up with an AN-J or AN-E, but the room will stay the same.

Keep up the excellent and non-conformist work! Thanks, Claus
