We forgetting how in the books while Harry and cho where on a date all she talked abt was her dead ex boyfriend and when Harry tried to change the subject and wanted them to meet Hermione because he didn’t wanna talk abt how he watched Cedric be murdered she got angry and said “I WiLL SEe YoU AROUND HARRY!!!” While poor Harry tried to chase her and was like “WOMAN!!!”

Damn I really wish we got to see more of Barty Crouch Jr. He was such an amazing character, and the casting of David Tennant was a great fit. The way he goes away in the books is so stupid and it really should be talked about more for how problematic it is just to set up the ministry problems in the next book. He would have been an amazing character to see in the rest of the book series

Dean Thomas. The actor spoke more in the Pilot of HTGAWM than all 8 films. And he had a bigger impact in the books!

Ron too, JK made him look REALLY stupid, in poa, Ron called the Dursley's and it's said that Hermione would have perfect sense to say she was not from Hogwarts, if she wasn't from Hogwarts where would she be from? Ain't no one's gonna think she's an adult with her squeaky voice?? And then in dh part 1, abeforth says to Ron, with brains like that you can join the death eaters, not exactly though. Other than that, Ron was an excellent wizard. And we can't even talk about the movies because i think we all know about how they took Ron's whole character to make Hermione a smartass that gets everything right.

OMG Filius Flitwick. In the movies… Completely ruined him and turned him into something just completely stupid and childish with that stupid frog quire. 🙄 in the books though, it was just as bad. He could have been such a nuanced character. I would've loved to have seen more of his kindness and perhaps could have served a role in a story that was supposed to "grow with the reader" that could have provided some more nuanced takes on events and perhaps some valid opposition to Dumbledore. It would have been nice to see someone like him be used as someone that could have been asking some serious and credible questions about Dumbledore's behaviour and how he run the school. He could've been someone that perhaps could have rallied other staff members to really build some sort of movement against Dumbledore… Questioning some of his seriously questionable decisions. So much potential in this character that was lost. It would have been interesting to see what an author that was more talented than J.K. Rowling could have done with this character. I know… It's a "kids story". But if your story is going to "grow with the reader" in a way that is credible, then they need to be a lot more layers to the story than just "Dumbledore good, Voldemort bad". there needs to be a lot more nuance to the story then "Dumbledore good, anyone who questions him bad". Any adult reading these books can see how badly Dumbledore runs things, and that somebody needed to do something about it. Flitwick could have served that role that J.K. Rowling used for Umbridge, and he could have done it in a much more humane and credible way. She really missed the boat on developing Flitwick into such an awesome character. It was really only in the seventh book that we saw what he was really capable of and saw him shine… Particularly taking out one of the most powerful death eaters. She really missed the boat though because by then it was too late. Would love to have seen more of him. Anyway, thank God for my head canon where he is the main feature.

For once, he's actually right about all of them
