2. Lavender did not slip love potion to Ron. It was Romilda Vane, and it was for Harry.
3. The books show a better setting between Harry × Cho and Hermione × Victor

Harry’s crush on Cho kind of faded because the happy pretty girl he knew, was still not over her dead ex boyfriend. Kind of hard to move on and Harry was kind of a rebound. It was doomed unfortunately.

Ron and Lavender weren't supposed to have any chemistry. They don't love each other (at least Ron doesn't love Lavender), Ron just want to get experience and also want to prove to Hermione (and perhaps Ginny) that he can get a girl if he wants to.
At least from Ron's side, their relationship is just physically, he doesnt't like her personality very much.

Harry and Cho had a bit chemistry in the books, but it was clear that it wouldn't work because both Cho and Harry were traumatised by Cedric's death and needed different ways to come over that. So it was supposed to be awkward.

Hermione was already 15 when Krum and her went to the ball. And if you go by time turner rules in the series, she would have technically been 16 because she used it for an entire year.

But Krum and Hermione were a great pair in the books. Krum respected and loved Hermione for who she was, even though she wasn't a big fan of quidditch or his fangirl. Krum might be a famous player and all, but he was ultimately a shy sweet person who had a lovely heart. I like him the most when everyone misbelieved Hermione over Rita Skeeter's articles, even her close ones, but Krum decided to not directly jump to conclusions and settled the matters with Harry first. And about the age factor, there were other great couples in the series with such differences like Bill and Fluer, Remus and Tonks. So I think it would have worked out pretty well.

Krum and hermione where pretty cute in the books. Hermione was the only one krum talked a lot too. They had good times togheter, like a the yule ball. Both made time to write even after krum returned to his own country. Krum loved hermione and hermione also did seem to like him. And age is not really a problem in my opnion. Hermione was mature for her age.
