Reading is like a movie in your head, you can imagine yourself as the main character and you can imagine your own setting!

After every episode I watch, I’ll reward my self to read another chapter

I always recommend reading books before bed and carrying a book with you at all times. Reading can be relaxing and can help people fall asleep. The problem with sleep today is often due to light. We become sleepy when it's dark and awake when its bright. People tend to use electronics before bed, which emit light and cause the brain to think it is still day, thus not releasing melatonin. Reading doesn't release light and can be read in a dim setting meaning it doesn't interfere with melatonin production. Also, when you carry a book around, you can read it everytime you have a break. I have heard that Stephen King does this and that people have seen him reading while waiting in line. We spend so much of our day waiting and most of that waiting, we are on our phones and such. You can read more just by replacing your phone with a book during those waiting periods.

Idk why I'm watching this. I've read over 100 books for the last couple of years. It's one of my favourite things to do

Reading is amazing, but there was a moment in my life were I stopped reading. Fast forward to before I entered to my second semester in college, I found my self really depressed; so I decided to read a self help book ( the reason that I started the book was because I was having suicidal thoughts). When I finished the book I apply every tip the book provided me. I found out that my life was changing for the better.

PS. I'm still on my second semester I'm just about to finish it. My relationship with my friends and family is exactly were I always wanted them to be.

If you have something that you really want in your life, spend lots of time reading about it. The more you read the more ideas will pop up the more creative your gonna start to get. Your subreadscious mind doesn't care if your vision is crazy. It doesnt care if you dont know how to do it.
When you see a thing clearly in your mind, your creative "reading mechanism" within you takes over and does the job much better than you could do it by readscious effort or readpower.
A different psychedelic from a different planet every nanosecond.
All sorts of dreams are possible.
The human nervous system cannot tell the difference between an "actual" readxperience and an readxperience imagined vividly and in detail.
Synthesize "experience, " to literally create experience, and control it, in the laboratory of our minds.
A vision is a very emotional image, the most powerful image that you can come up with for yourself at this time. This vision will become like a hallucination in other peoples mind and this could be the cause of them creating extraordinary things.

I usually just start at 1p to 5 pm and do it daily.

As for how many pages I read daily; I divide the total of pages by the number of days I want to finish it.

I also put a relaxing music playlist in the background and a cup of water beside me.

I read in a clean space where I could read undisturbed and calmly. 💖

I do this. If I want to finish a book in a week, I break it down to the chapters I need to read a day. Plus I make myself write a review (or what I learned) from those chapters so I don't forget what I read.

I started reading a few weeks ago, and it just happened. I would spend most of my time playing videogames or going through social media, but in the beginning of this year I started to be depressed. I started feeling like everything is pointless, and that was when I decided to take a Harry Potter's book, and after all, *I loved it*

The only method I have a problem with is temptation bundling because you could definitely get distracted if you reward yourself with the wrong thing. I say keep it simple get like a bag of candy and after you read a few chapter, then you can have a couple. I think if you used tv or video games you might get too easily distracted.

I'm actually a dropout in high school due to the pandemic but I still want to learn and at least improve myself everyday little by little and the 1st thing I'm gonna do this week is to try to implement this in my self-improvement and studies.

Hearing 0:08 definitely gives me more confidence, alone! I just recently finished reading Mistborn and I loved it, but i’m t trying to read other bigger books and even just hearing this gives me more confidence to read more knowing that reading is so uncommon now!
