This video made me realize that if I have to change everything about my personality and attitude to attract guys then I'd rather be alone. I also object to the concept of 'fake-it-til-you-make-it' wholeheartedly. I'd rather work on being satisfied with being alone than changing myself in order to find someone who just likes me for the person I created instead of the person I am.

I have liked so many guys in my life and not one of them has liked me... instead they always end up having crushes on my friends. For example I liked this one guy really much and talked a lot to him. And then one day he told me he had only talked with me because he has a crush on my best friend. My best friend at that time barely even knew this guy and she was very selfish and not nice to other people sometimes but she sure was beautiful. That hurt me very much and just was the last straw. I felt and still feel ugly and worthless around other people. Especially with boys. But when im not around a lot of people I feel beutiful.

this is nice advice, but some of us PHYSICALLY have a hard time attracting men. everyone sees me as a bubbly, positive personality but men have not even approached me in over a decade. hard to believe it's been a decade of getting attention just because i'm not positive enough. we all know women who are extremely negative who get attention from men all the time. i am focused on my walk with God, my business, my fam & friends, etc, but going on so long without attention from ANY men is hard to overlook. wish we could all be a chocolate delight like you, tiye!! lol! ;)
