It kills me when people say eating a healthy diet is expensive. A lot of fresh vegetables and fruits are pretty cheap.

I eat a whole foods diet... i think..(no dairy/no seafood/no refined carbs). I grill and bake 90% of my food. I have a small hoard of canned fruits, veg, and soups. And some snacks like pistachios, crunchy peanutbutter and dried figs.

I hardly eat out because im usually not impressed with my food. I always end up feeling like it wasnt worth the money or the extra calories and i couldve made something better at home.

Keto works for me. But, I won't stop anyone who take different approach of diet. Just do what works for you.

I like that they looked at all 3 extremes of diet and figured out what they all had in common. I’m addicted to sugar and have been steadily putting on weight for the past decade. I like what Ben Greenfield said about avoiding decision fatigue by eating the same things every day until dinner. Going to try the same thing.

Totally agree with the surprise over gluten. Some people thrive on it. As long as you don't eat a ton of bread.

I eat a minimalistic Carnivore/Keto diet. Beef, chicken wings, lamb liver, other organ meats, wild caught fish, honey, coconut oil and avocado oil. I drink water, black coffee and tea. I take digestive enzymes, magnesium glycinate and a few other supplements for filling in the gaps.

I live in Germany and am very happy when I have eaten an amazing slice of cake (example: a slice of Black Forest cake at a special cafe in the Black Forest).

I did enjoy this content. It's interesting to hear from someone else's perspective on what a healthy, nutritious and filling minimalistic meal is. I have been vegan for five years and do daily exercises with a group of friends. Since my college years I have had a motto: always eat at the apt and stay active, and if I do go out to eat, eat everything on my plate or take it to go (the restaurants throws away the food) Most of the salads or pastries I take home I can eat it in a day or two. And I don't have to worry about cooking or food prepping for those days. Great info guys! I will check out your podcast!

I'm guessing my husband and I would be considered extreme minimalist with food 🤣 we do intermittent fasting and we only eat one meal a day. Have been doing this for years

Simply vegan food and looking after our health is the most important thing 👍. Vegan and very healthy food works for me, I feel better and more active.

The minimal, with a plato change. Changing consumption order, . Can be something different like liquor to cannabis tobacco if wine, or spiced meal to cannabis marijuana.

I'm not a nutritionist but here are my thoughts. I think that the more strict are your diet the less chance that you will keep it on. So I only try to avoid processed food and an excess amount of sugar and fats, which solves most of the health problems correlating to food. To confront decision fatigue but not lose variety I have some kind of formula. A balanced meal for me is a combination of three parts - carbs, a source of protein, and veggies. That can sound difficult, but it's just rice/pasta/potato + meat/chicken/fish/beans + some mix of fresh or frozen veggies. By just combining those things and some spices you will get most recipes of pasta, fried rice, pilaf, curry, and so on. I just switch protein source from day to day in some kind of a cycle and rest of ingredients depends on what's available at the market

my diet is super simple. its beef, eggs, bacon, and cheese!! lol. nothing else!!!! Ive been doing the carnivore diet for over a year now. never going back!!
