This is how we attach blood vessels during surgery. Sometimes the vessels are so small, we need to do this using a microscope. This is required during many types of surgeries. #surgery #drschulman #medicine

It’s interesting because I always here to send patients off to “plastics” when they have a markedly obvious facial cut etc. But I assume a vascular surgeon may be better sought out for their fine suturing skills. I would also consider a really good ED doc because I assume their doing lots of tiny jobs throughout their shifts on a weekly basis
